Quantum Land

It is the job of the costume designer to bring visual life to a production. "Quantum Land" Was a play that I created, one that I used to construct pieces for the Corbett-Mayerson Awards. The costumes for Quantum Land tie into the abnormal aspects of Quantum Physics; after all, Quantum Land is a surrealistic take on England in the 1940’s.

The premises of "Quantum Land" begins when a girl named Maxine (Max) Newman is shipped off to stay with her father's distant relatives during the blitzkrieg. Max finds herself in staying with the Relativity family, a strange family that lives in a town called Quantum Land. However, when the Relativity's daughter - Rosen - is kidnapped (along with the queen and other members of society), Max and new friend Thelma Young find themselves on a mission to defeat Schwartz and bring Queen Quantum back to her rightful thrown.
